Covid-19 Has Caused 126,000 Deaths in Brazil (September 5th)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Another 682 people died because of Covid-19 in Brazil in the past 24 hours, according to records released on Saturday, September 5th. This brings the total number of deaths to 126,203 since March 27th.

The mortality rate is of 59.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. In total, lethality (deaths per 100,000 cases) stands at 3.1 percent, according to information from the Ministry of Health.

According to the update, 30.1 thousand new cases of the disease were recorded. The report totals 4.123 million infections by the novel coronavirus - an incidence . . .
