Covid-19: Brazil Records 690 Deaths and Highest Daily Case Average Since August

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The media outlets consortium released a new survey of the coronavirus pandemic situation in Brazil based on data from state Health Secretariats, consolidated at 8 PM on Saturday, December 12th.

The country recorded 690 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours, reaching a total of 181,143 fatalities since the start of the pandemic. Accordingly, the rolling average of deaths in Brazil in the past seven days stood at 643. There was a +23% variation compared to the average of 14 days ago, showing an upward trend in deaths from the disease.
