RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The number of people infected with the novel coronavirus since the start of the pandemic rose to 4,689,613. In the past 24 hours, 31,911 new positive Covid-19 diagnoses were recorded. By Thursday, the total stood at 4,657,702.
