RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil has now recorded 108,536 deaths from the novel coronavirus pandemic. The number was released during the Ministry of Health's daily update.
In the past 24 hours, 684 new deaths were registered. On Sunday, August 16th, there were 107,852 deaths in the system. One week ago, it was 101,752. There are a further 3,454 deaths under investigation.
