Colombia starts June with a record 25,966 Covid-19 infections in 24 hours (June 1)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Colombia started June with a new record of 25,966 new Covid-19 infections on the day it surpassed the 10 million vaccines applied, the Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday.

According to health authorities, the country, which is in the middle of the third peak of the pandemic, accumulates 3,432,422 infected and 89,297 deaths after the 523 reported today.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, Colombia closed May, the deadliest month since the beginning of the pandemic, with 3,406,456 infected and 88,774 deaths.
