RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The City Hall of Teresópolis in the hilly region of the state is registering 100% occupancy in its hospital systems, raising to 7 the number of cities in Rio de Janeiro with all Covid-19 ICU beds occupied. According to the Municipal Health Secretariat, there is full occupancy rate in Covid-19 ICU and ward beds, with all 49 taken.
The city hall of Teresópolis also reported that the Crisis Cabinet will meet next Monday, August 23, to assess the evolution of infections and hospitalizations in the past 14 days. In the last meeting . . .
