RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A VEJA survey comparing the Covid-19 numbers over the past two weeks shows that Amazonas is the Brazilian state with the highest drop in the rolling daily average of deaths. In the period, Amazonas saw a 49.59% decline in the index: from 17.3 daily deaths to 8.7.
The number is well below the figures registered between January and February this year, when Amazonas' healthcare system collapsed and reached a rolling average of almost 150.
