Brazilians with full immunization represent 16.2% of vaccine-eligible population

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In Brazil, 71.152 million people were vaccinated with the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine as of Saturday, June 26, the Ministry of Health reported. The total number represents 45% of the 158.095 million people over the age of 18 in the country.

A total of 25.583 million Brazilians received the first and second doses of the vaccine or the single dose of Janssen, completing the vaccination cycle. This represents 16.2% of the country's vaccine-eligible population.
