Brazilianists in U.S. urge Biden to supply the country with vaccines

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A letter signed by over 400 Brazilianists and friends of Brazil in the U.S., including Brazilians living in the country, was sent to President Joe Biden calling for help in shipping vaccines to Brazil.

The letter comes in response to a humanitarian appeal from the presidents of 6 trade unions in Brazil that represent some 50 million Brazilian workers.

In addition to the request to mobilize the U.S. government in an effort to secure vaccines for Brazil, the document cites the promotion of partnerships for a larger and more sustainable production of immunizers.
