RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil on Sunday reported 243 new deaths from Covid-19, bringing the total number of fatalities from the disease in the country to 594,443, the Health Ministry said.
The ministry added that there were also 8,668 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 21,351,972. The federal government still reported 417,156 patients in follow-up.
