Covid -19: Brazil registers 18,172 new cases and 615 deaths, passes 600,000 total deaths (October 8)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil on Friday reported 615 more deaths from Covid-19, the Health Ministry said, leading the country to surpass the mark of 600,000 deaths from the disease.

According to the ministry, there were also 18,172 new coronavirus cases, with the total number of infections in the country advancing to 21,550,730.
