Brazil has vaccinated 50.98% of its population with at least one dose

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The number of people vaccinated with at least one dose against Covid-19 in Brazil on Monday, August 9, reached 107,949,359, representing 50.98% of the total population.

In the past 24 hours, 848,561 people were administered the first vaccine shot, according to data compiled by the media outlet consortium from secretariats in 26 states and the Federal District. In the last 24 hours, 625,954 people were administered a booster dose and another 10,540 the single-dose vaccine. Altogether, Brazil administered 1,485,055 doses on Monday.
