Brazil confirms 68,333 cases and 2,595 new Covid-19 deaths in 24h (April 30)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In the last 24 hours, Brazil has recorded 2,595 deaths and 68,333 new cases of Covid-19, according to data released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) this Friday (30).

On Thursday (29), the country surpassed 400,000 lives lost by the new coronavirus. April, with over 82 thousand deaths was the most lethal month of the pandemic in Brazil. The disease has infected more than 14 million people, and has killed 403,781.
