Argentina to receive 4 million AstraZeneca vaccine doses this month

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Argentine government on Tuesday announced that it will receive the first batch of AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccines this month under a supply contract signed with the laboratory, while another order, also from AstraZeneca, will be received through the United Nations Covax initiative.

The announcement was made by Argentina's Health Minister Carla Vizzotti during a meeting of the Federal Health Council, which comprises health authorities from all Argentine provinces.
