RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL -Experts stated that in Argentina, the first scientific study published for the Sputnik Light vaccine, the first component of Sputnik V against Covid-19, showed an efficacy of 78.6% in preventing infection against the disease.
"We found 78.6% in preventing infections and 84.8% in preventing deaths from coronavirus in the province of Buenos Aires," reported specialist Santi Olszevicki, one of the scientists involved in the study carried out by the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health and published in the journal EClinicalMedicine of The Lancet group.
