Argentina receives 400,000 doses of Sputnik V to move forward with vaccination

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Argentina received 400,000 doses of the second component of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V to complete vaccination schedules against Covid-19, an objective that the government of Alberto Fernández has set as a priority for this month.

This batch is in addition to another 200,000 doses of the second component of Sputnik V, which arrived in the South American country last week.

The shipments of doses of the second component of the vaccine developed by the National Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology Research Gamaleya have been delayed.
