Two people die in helicopter crash on the Brazil-Paraguay border

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A helicopter crashed and 2 people died on Wednesday morning, October 20, in Ponta Porã, a city located on the border region between Brazil and Paraguay.

Footage shows the crash site with debris scattered across a farm.

According to the Department of Repression of Organized Crime (DRACCO), the helicopter crashed near a rural property in the city. The Department of Public Safety of Ponta Porã said the aircraft crashed at least 30 kilometers from the city. It is suspected that the helicopter was loaded with drugs . . .
