Tax collection grows 11.5% in 2022 and Brazilians transfer US$540 billion to public coffers

Estimates by the Trade Association of São Paulo (ACSP) point out that the Brazilian population transferred R$2.89 trillion (US$540 billion) in taxes to the federal government, according to information from the "Impostômetro" (taxometer).

The index considers the amount collected by federal, state and municipal governments, including fees, contributions, fines, interest and monetary correction.
