Covid-19: Portugal reopens borders to Brazilians with negative tests

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Wednesday (September 1), Portugal opened its borders to Brazilian tourists after being closed for more than a year. The decision was published in the Official Gazette and is valid until September 16 "and can be changed at any time".

From now on, Brazilians must present a negative Covid-19 test in addition to their passport. The deadline for the RT-PCR test is 72 hours before boarding and 48 hours for the antigen test. However, children 12 years of age and younger are not required to present a negative test.
