U.S. Considers Reopening Borders for Travelers from Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The United States is considering lifting entry restrictions for non-U.S. travelers recently passing through Brazil or 31 European countries, Reuters reported on Wednesday, November 25th, quoting five Washington and U.S. airline industry officials.

In addition to Brazil, the countries mentioned in the White House internal talks are The United Kingdom, Ireland and the 29 members of the Schengen Area, a free movement zone for people that includes part of the European Union, such as France and Germany, and some countries outside the bloc, among them Norway.
