The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, and the President-elect of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, spoke about their plans to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, says a statement from the British Government.
In the text released by a spokesman for Downing Street - the residence and office of the chief executive in London - he explained that the two leaders spoke by telephone and Sunak "reiterated his congratulations on the victory in the elections held in October in Brazil by President-elect Lula da Silva and both agreed on the importance of promoting democratic values . . .
