Oil production in Brazil in April rises 4.6% over March

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Oil production in Brazil in April reached 2.974 million barrels per day, while natural gas production was 131 million cubic meters per day. Compared to March, the volume produced represented a 4.6% increase in oil production and a 4.2% growth in natural gas production.

Total production in the country - adding oil and gas - reached 3.801 million barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) in April.
