In May, Brazil had best ever seat load factor on domestic flights for the month

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In the midst of the pandemic, Brazilian domestic flights in May recorded the highest seat load factor for the month since 2000, the beginning of the historical series provided by the country's Civil Aviation Agency ANAC.

Last month, 82% of the seats offered by airlines on domestic flights were occupied.

The percentage is higher than last year when it was 70% and in previous years. From 2000 to now, only in 2019, the usage rate for the month exceeded 80% and remained at 50% at the beginning of the millennium.
