Brazil created 159,500 formal jobs in October

Brazil created 159,500 formal jobs in October 2022. This is the 10th consecutive month that the country has a positive balance, according to Caged (General Register of Employed and Unemployed).

In all, 2.3 million jobs were opened from January to October. The data were released on Tuesday (Nov 29 2022) by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

There was an 18% drop compared to the same period in 2021, when 2.8 million jobs . . .
