The Brazilian Federal Government revenue from taxes, contributions and other revenues reached R$2.2 trillion (US$430 billion) in the entire year of 2022, since the beginning of the historical series, in 1995.
In amounts corrected for inflation, the amount collected in 2022 totaled R$2.25 trillion, which represents a real increase of 8.18% compared to the year 2021 (R$2.08 trillion).
In December of last year alone, still according to official figures, the amounts collected by the federal government totaled R$210 billion, with a real increase of 8.4% compared to the same period . . .
