Heat, overcrowding and a lot of hits: check out how was Carnival weekend around Brazil

Carnival Sunday was busy across the country.

In Rio de Janeiro, renowned "blocos" took to the streets like Bangalafumenga, Cordão do Boitatá, and Simpatia É Quase Amor.

Bloco da Areia celebrated its 20th anniversary with a lot of animation in the southern part of the capital.

The parades spread throughout all the regions of the city and took millions of revelers under a heat of 31ºC.

The revelers on the streets of São Paulo experienced the opposite thermal sensation.

The capital registered rain all day and temperatures that did not exceed 23º C (according to Climatempo).
