Gasoline prices in Brazil’s Southeast region increase 26.59% in the first semester

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Gas stations in the Southeast region registered the most expensive gasoline in Brazil in June. With an increase of 1.10% compared to May and 26.59% compared to December 2020, the liter of fuel was sold at an average of R$5.966 (US$1.15) this past month.

Ethanol, in turn, advanced 35.53% in the first semester and was found at R$4.879. The data is part of the Ticket Log Price Index, which analyzes fuel prices based on the fueling carried out in the 21,000 service stations accredited to Ticket . . .
