Brazilian Stock Exchange ends the trading session with a 2% high

The main index of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (B3), Ibovespa, ended the trading session on Wednesday, Mar. 8, up 2%, at 106 thousand points.

The announcement of creating a working group to analyze the Student Financing Fund (Fies), drawn up by the Minister of Education, Camilo Santana, was one of the reasons for the rise.

With this movement, companies such as YDUQS and Cogna Educação went up 12% and 8%, respectively, driven by the expectation of changes in Fies.
