Brazil’s Midwest suffers from a shortage of professionals for agribusiness

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Midwest Region suffers from a shortage of good professionals in the agribusiness segment. These specialized profiles are highly sought after, and companies have made aggressive retention moves to hold on to them, which has significantly impacted the sector.

According to Anderson Schemberg, the executive responsible in the Midwest Region for the HR solutions ecosystem, Fesa Group, of the agribusiness positions held this year, 80% were negotiated for salaries and benefits because the employing companies applied aggressive counterproposals for retention.
