Brazil’s government signs concession agreement for vehicle handling area in Paranaguá port

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Paraná Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior, along with federal Infrastructure Minister Tarcísio Gomes de Freitas, have signed the concession contract for the vehicle handling area in Paranaguá Port.

Ascensus Gestão e Participações will now manage the terminal for the next 25 years, with investments of R$22 (US$4.2) million.

"It is a moment of great pride for everyone in Paraná to sign this contract. The auction was a success, with goodwill above market expectations. It will allow the port of Paranaguá to continue moving forward, expanding export capacity," said Ratinho Junior . . .
