The Ibovespa opened the week falling on Monday, Jan. 23. In yesterday's trading session, the indicator closed quoted at around 111 thousand points (-0.3%).
Ibovespa is the main index of the Brazilian Stock Exchange (B3). Also losing value, the dollar fell 0.15%, closing at R$5.20.
In the middle of the drop this Monday, some of the main banks in the country were devalued.
Itaú's common and preferred shares fell 3% and 2.3%, respectively. Bradesco lost 4.2% and 3.2%, in the same order. And the claims of Banco do Brasil depreciated by . . .
