Brazil’s Aquatic Transportation Agency approves Codesa’s first port privatization project

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil's first port privatization project took an important step forward on Friday, January 14, with the National Agency of Aquatic Transportation (Antaq) approval of the tender announcement for Companhia Docas do Espírito Santo (Codesa).

The concession contract will have a term of 35 years, extendable for another five years, and provides for US$60.4 million in private investments, in addition to approximately US$180 million . . .
