Brazil’s agribusiness exports in June hit record US$12 billion – ministry

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - "This rise in prices due to global economic recovery was decisive for the record of the month, since there was a drop of 4.1% in the quantum index of Brazilian exports," the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement.

The main export product, soy posted a record US$5.30 billion (+23.4%) in revenue, despite a reduction of 12.9% in the exported volume of 11.1 million tons.
