Brazilians trust the armed forces significantly more than the justice system

According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the country's population trusts the Armed Forces more than the Justice system.

The information appears in the Trust Ranking, prepared by the institute and released on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

The list uses data from IBGE's Continuous National Household Survey collected in 2021. The surveyed population is aged 15 and up.

According to the survey, the confidence in the Armed Forces (75.7%) was 25 percentage points above the index for Justice (50.2%).
