Brazilian Public Prosecutor’s Office denounces 39 people for invasion and depredation of the three branches of power

The Brazilian Public Prosecutor's Office denounced this Monday before the Supreme Court 39 people for their relation with the acts of depredation and vandalism in the National Congress, the Presidential Palace, and the Federal Supreme Court (STF) in the capital Brasilia last Jan. 8.

According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, the defendants are accused of armed criminal association, violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, coup d'état, deterioration of historical patrimony, and qualified damage by violence and serious threat with the use of inflammable substances against public patrimony.
