Brazil to create more than 560,000 temporary jobs by the end of 2021

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - More than 560,000 temporary vacancies should be generated by the end of the year. The forecast is from the Brazilian Association of Temporary Work (Asserttem).

The number is 20% higher than in 2020. Last year, about 470,000 temporary jobs were generated.

The popular shopping dates of Children's Day, Black Friday, and Christmas should drive the creation of these vacancies. This increase is mainly driven by industry, but the service and commerce sectors should also hire to meet the consumer demand as vaccination advances . . .
