RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil's soy exports reached 16.4 million tons in May, up 16.3% compared to the same period in 2020, showed data released by the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) on Tuesday.
The pace of shipments recorded up to the 3rd week of the month pointed to a potential new monthly record, but the daily sales average fell to 781,110 tons and the May volume was below the historical high of 17.38 million tons seen in April this year.
