Brazil receives 2.7 million foreign tourists in first four months of 2023, most of all Argentines

Brazil received 2.7 million foreign tourists in the first four months of 2023, a figure that is equivalent to 75 percent of the total number of foreign visitors who visited the country in 2022.

This is according to an official study by the state agency Ente Brasileiro de Turismo (Embratur) released today by the GloboNews news network.

According to Embratur data, the increase generated between January and April still does not match the levels of 2019, before the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
