Brazil: landslide leaves 36 homeless and destroys homes in Minas Gerais

At least 36 people are homeless after a landslide in Ubá (MG), in the Zona da Mata region of Minas Gerais, on Wednesday afternoon (25).

The ravine slipped into a private condominium in the Olaria neighborhood.

According to the local Civil Defense, three houses were totally destroyed, and three others were seriously damaged.

According to the firemen, nobody was injured, since the six properties had already been closed since Monday (23), due to the instability of the slope.

Another 10 properties in the region were affected and had to be closed down.
