Brazil: indigenous peoples protest against bills in Brasília

Nearly 200 indigenous peoples from all over Brazil walked from the Esplanade of the Ministries to the National Congress on Monday, 24.

The group is in Brasilia to participate in the Acampamento Terra Livre [Free Land Camp] (ATL) movement, organized by the Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (Apib).

Parliamentarians from Psol and Rede received the indigenous people.

Until April 28, more than 6,000 indigenous people are expected in the federal capital.
