Saudi Sela Group offers US$6 million to Brazil for São Paulo aircraft carrier

A new installment of the São Paulo aircraft carrier saga.

A few hours after the Brazilian Navy officially communicated that, despite the environmental consequences, the fate of its former flagship would be at the bottom of the sea, the Saudi group Sela sent an offer to the Ministry of Defense to take over the hull of the vessel for 30 million reais (US%5.9 million).
