Search for authenticity puts flirting apps in check

A phenomenon during the pandemic, dating apps live a new challenge: the adhesion of the new generations.

A survey conducted by Consumoteca in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, and initially reported in Brazil by The Summer Hunter website, indicated that 51% of 17 to 24-year-olds claim they have never used platforms like Tinder, Bumble, and Grindr to find their romantic partners.

The justification of a large part of the interviewees is that these applications work as "fake showcases".

Digital natives want their internet dates to be minimally real.
