On Tuesday (6), Iran unveiled its 1st domestically manufactured hypersonic ballistic missile.
According to the state-run Irna news agency, the military equipment named Fattah – “Conqueror” in Farsi – has a range of 1,400 km and can pass through regional missile defense systems.
The announcement increases the country’s tension with the West and should cool the dialogues for the resumption of the nuclear agreement broken by the US in 2018.
