Chile's Ministry of the Interior and Public Security announced in its Public Account 2023 that it will provide the Carabineros de Chile with 18 armored vans, 15 mobile armored modules, and four Arquus-Defense APC Bastion 4x4 Armored Personnel Carriers (TPB) to be assigned to the South Macro-zone, where the State of Constitutional Emergency Exception (EEC-E) for Serious Disturbance to Public Order is in force.
