Petrobras will change its strategy to define fuel prices

The president of Petrobras, Jean Paul Prates, revealed in an interview with O Globo newspaper that the company would implement a new commercial strategy to replace the import parity policy (PPI) adopted in 2016.

The interview was published on Friday, 12.

Prates stated that the company would reduce fuel prices without completely disengaging from the foreign market.

In the search for a new approach, Prates highlighted the need to be "free from the PPI dogma" and seek a strategy that values the self-sufficiency and competitiveness of Petrobras.
